Pizza My Heart on El Monte is hosting our very first DINE FOR VARGAS night! That's right, you can feed your family AND raise funds for your school AT THE SAME TIME.
On Thursday, September 17, from 4-9pm, go to Pizza My Heart at 1037 El Monte, order your take out and as you pay, mention the school's name or (show them this flyer)!
They'll donate 30% of your purchase to Vargas.
Now here's an important part: Tell everyone you know about it! Coworkers, friends and family, your barber, your dentist, as long as they get their grub on at Pizza My Heart on El Camino during DINE FOR VARGAS hours, and they mention the school, we'll get 30% of their purchase donated too! So share this post!

The Jose Antonio Vargas PTA is a valuable asset to the school community. As a brand new school in 2019-2020, the PTA was essential in ensuring all students had access to a quality education.
2020-21 will be a challenging school year, but TOGETHER we can make it through!
It is essential, now more than ever, to join and donate to the Jose Antonio Vargas PTA so that together we can ensure all students, teachers, and parents feel part of the school community!
Joining the PTA is simple! And joining doesn't mean you have to volunteer or donate any money! The fee to join is a one time fee each school year and it provides the PTA with many opportunities to help each and every student on campus. By joining the PTA it also gives you and your child a voice! You decide how involved you want to be! The PTA helps YOU stay informed!

General Association Meetings
The Jose Antonio Vargas PTA has general association meetings on the fourth Wednesday in August, October, January, March and May. Due to public health circumstances the meetings will be held virtually for the time being. For the school year 2020-21, the dates of the meetings are as follows:
We have BIG SHOES to fill for 2020-21! Due to COVID-19 much of the work will be done from home! It is a great year to get involved! If you are looking for a way to stay connected to the school community, stay informed, and provide input to school activities, you can volunteer for one of the open positions! All JA Vargas Families should join Konstella. This is the primary communication tool for the PTA! Even if you choose not to join the JA Vargas PTA Community, we strongly encourage ALL FAMILIES to register on the site! You will be able to control what information gets sent to you and what is relevant to your family! It will allow you to CONNECT with other JA Vargas students and families, but most importantly you will know more about what is happening in your child's classroom and on campus (if we are ver allowed back on campus!)
