Take a Walk Among the Stars with the Vargas Walkathon on Friday, October 3!
Our students will go to infinity and beyond during our walkathon event, walking laps to earn prizes while contributing to the PTA's annual budget which goes towards assemblies, field trips, and other student enrichment. Plus, there's even more fun to be had with food trucks, games, a photo booth, and more!

Visit 99Pledges to set up your child's pledge page:
Add your child (first name and last initial) to create their page
Collect donations via the 99pledges site or turn in cash or check donations to the front office (your child will also get a baggie in friday folders to help make collecting cash or checks from friends or family simpler!)
For any larger donations, please consider turning in a check donation - that lets us avoid paying credit card processing fees and use more of your donation for our students!

To ensure a fun, safe event, please do the following:
Sign the Walkathon Permission Form, to let teachers know if your student will stay on-campus at school dismissal.

The event has free entry!
Students walk laps on the Vargas Field, both during and after school.
Face Painting, Photobooth, DJ and other fun activities will be on-site.
Kona Shave Ice, taco truck, and PTA Concessions (nachos and popcorn) are available for purchase from 3-6pm.

1:30PM Students walk during school hours (TK/Kinder after dismissal)
2:30PM Course closed for school dismissal
3:00PM Course reopens for more walking, food trucks, and fun!
6:00PM Event ends
We're still collecting donations from sponsors to help with donations of gift certificates and other prizes for our walk-a-thon - please reach out to president@javargaspta.org if you can help with finding sponsors for our walk-a-thon!
